The 2025 Academic Annual Conference of the Association of Sino-German Universities(Colleges)of Applied Sciences (ASGUAS) took place at Wuhan Business University on November 15th. Hosted by ASGUAS, co-organized by Wuhan Business University and Chongqing College of Mobile Communication, and co-sponsored by the German-Chinese Association for Educational and Cultural Exchange, the event was attended by representatives from nearly 40 Chinese colleges and institutions, along with educational scholars from both China and Germany.

Chairman of the Alliance and President of Chongqing College of Mobile Communication, Professor Lv Yi; Director of the Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Division of Hubei Provincial Department of Education, Liang Wei; Executive President of Fachhochschule Essen - Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Management, Germany, Professor Bai Xiaole; and Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Wuhan Business University, Professor Luo Shuangyan, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The meeting was hosted by Professor Qin Jianghua from Central China Normal University and Li Ping, Dean of the School of International Exchange of Wuhan Business University.

The annual conference featured high-level academic reports. During the conference, discussions focused on six cutting-edge themes, including "The Construction of a New Pattern and the Enhancement of Development Levels for Internationalized School-Running" and "The Integrated Innovation of Artificial Intelligence and Education", mapping out a blueprint for the future development of Chinese-German application-oriented universities.

The conference successfully concluded amid lively intellectual exchanges and practical discussions. Professor Qin Jianghua from Central China Normal University noted that the conference had brought together elites from academic and industrial circles, summarized the achievements of cooperation, exchanged valuable experience, shared cutting-edge new knowledge, enhanced friendship among members, and outlined a blueprint for deeper and more fruitful cooperation in the future—thus laying a solid foundation for such efforts.
In the future, with the joint efforts of its member institutions, the ASGUAS (The Association of Sino-German Universities of Applied Science) will translate the conference's outcomes into concrete actions, deepen cooperation in talent cultivation, technological innovation and industry collaboration, and inject impetus into industrial upgrading and talent development of both countries.
