On the evening of July 29, CCTV's flagship program Focus Interview aired an episode titled New Concepts for Career Choice, New Horizons for Employment, which explored methods and typical cases of how university graduates can land their ideal jobs. The innovative measures and remarkable achievements of our university in employment and entrepreneurship were highly recognized and commended in this exclusive interview by the national media outlet.

Notably, just four days prior, on July 25, China Quality News, a national authoritative newspaper, published a report titled Chongqing College of Mobile Communication Maintains High Graduate Employment Rate for Consecutive Years on its second page, affirming the outstanding employment performance of our university’s graduates. Meanwhile, since last year, the "Road to Transcendence" research team from the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China has conducted special research on our university’s high-quality employment work and incorporated it as a typical case into the special research scope of its new project—"Useful Explorations into a New Form of Educational Civilization". Our university’s efforts and achievements in promoting high-quality employment of graduates have been highly praised by authoritative media and organizations on multiple occasions recently.

During the program, Huang Yan, a 2024 graduate majoring in Digital Media Technology from our university, shared her personal experience enthusiastically, talking about how the university helped her secure startup funding for her entrepreneurial venture. CCTV highly recognized and praised our university’s initiatives of promoting employment through entrepreneurship. In response to college students’ practical challenges such as lack of experience and insufficient startup funds, the university has established an employment and entrepreneurship mentor pool, which has extensively recruited over 210 on-campus and off-campus experts to participate in employment and entrepreneurship guidance. CCTV commended our university as a national advanced model in employment work.

Huang Yan stated that CCMC's employment and entrepreneurship innovation models and resources, which are student-oriented, can provide strong impetus for students' employment and entrepreneurship: "Under the guidance of the university's entrepreneurial mentors, CCMC's entrepreneurial students can further optimize the commercial feasibility of their projects. The university also provides free entrepreneurial venues for students, which gives our team the confidence to 'dare to dream, dare to think, and dare to explore' in the initial stage of entrepreneurship."
"I started my entrepreneurship during my sophomore year at the university. At that time, the university provided me with comprehensive entrepreneurial guidance and recommended suitable business premises. Especially when registering the company after graduation, it also assisted in connecting with practical help such as industrial and commercial registration, taxation, legal services, financing platforms, and business channels," said Du Juan, a 2011 graduate of our university and Chairman of Chongqing Aodun Security Technology Co., Ltd., expressing great gratitude when talking about the university's entrepreneurial guidance.
For a long time, CCMC has always regarded solving the employment problem of graduates as a key priority, adhered to a student-centered approach focusing on their all-round development, and positioned itself as a "Business School for the Information Industry". The university has innovatively constructed a distinctive talent training model of "Four-in-One Dual-College System + Specialized Curriculum", which organically integrates "Extreme Holistic Education × Sufficient General Education × Basic Business Education × Necessary Professional Education" and "Majors in Colleges + Daily Life in Academies". It focuses on cultivating high-quality applied and technical management talents with solid professional capabilities, strong comprehensive qualities, international perspectives, innovative spirits, practical abilities, and competitive advantages.
Relying on strengthened university-enterprise cooperation to accurately align with the needs of the job market; innovating employment measures to optimize the innovation and entrepreneurship incubation chain; promoting the implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship projects and strengthening student project management as important means, the university has established an "Eight-in-One Integrated Student Career Development and Employment-Entrepreneurship Guidance System". This system integrates resources from various parties, strengthens employment and entrepreneurship guidance, builds a model for employment work, and makes every effort to promote high-quality and full employment of CCMC graduates.

Statistics show that the employment placement rate of CCMC graduates has long been among the top of undergraduate universities in Chongqing and ranks first among private universities of the same type. The university has won many honors for its employment and entrepreneurship work, with over 600 university-enterprise cooperation units. CCMC graduates' employment presents the "Three Highs and One Broad" characteristics, namely high employer satisfaction, high employment placement rate, high starting salary, and broad employment prospects.

To date, the university has a total student population of nearly 39,000 across its two campuses, making it the largest university in Chongqing in terms of enrollment size. Moreover, CCMC has ranked first for three consecutive years in the ABC China Private University Rankings compiled by the ABC consulting firm. Moving forward, the university will continue to adhere to the student-centered development philosophy, deepen educational reforms, strengthen university-enterprise collaboration, and promote high-quality employment and entrepreneurship. It is committed to becoming a first-class application-oriented undergraduate university in central and western China, cultivating more outstanding talents for society, contributing to the cause of higher education, and steadily advancing toward its grand vision of becoming "the preferred university beyond the Double First-Class universities".
