Recently, MyCOS, an authoritative higher education data institute, released the Graduate Training Effectiveness Evaluation Report of Chongqing College of Mobile Communication (CCMC) for the Class of 2019. Data shows that based on a follow-up survey on core dimensions including employment quality, career development and competency attainment of graduates five years after graduation, CCMC graduates have outperformed their peers from universities of the same type nationwide in multiple metrics such as average monthly income, position promotion rate and employer satisfaction. Some indicators have even surpassed those of national "Double First-Class" universities, which has earned authoritative recognition for CCMC’s achievements in high-quality employment. This outcome is based on a follow-up survey of 4,076 graduates from the Class of 2019.
Founded in 2006, MyCOS has provided annual data tracking and consulting services for more than 1,600 universities. It is a cooperative project partner of institutions including the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Justice, as well as an industry-university-research cooperation base for schools such as the Graduate School of Education of Peking University and the Institute of Education of Tsinghua University. In addition, it is the sole compiling unit of the China College Students’ Employment Report (also known as the Employment Blue Book, published annually by Social Sciences Academic Press).
Data indicates that the average monthly income of CCMC graduates reached 10,903 yuan, higher than the national average of non-"Double First-Class" undergraduate institutions; the position promotion rate stood at 65%, 4 percentage points above the national average. Among the university’s schools, graduates of the College of Vision achieved an average monthly salary of 12,282 yuan five years after graduation, with a growth rate of 136%; the further study rate of the Sino-German College of Applied Technology (now the German Institute of Engineering) reached 36%, ranking first in the university; the entrepreneurship rate of CCMC graduates hit 5.3%, significantly higher than the national average of 3.0%, and 85% of the entrepreneurial projects have achieved profitability.

In terms of employment relevance, the ratio of graduates working in roles matching their majors stood at 52%, slightly lower than the national average of 65% for non-"Double First-Class" undergraduate institutions. However, employer satisfaction reached an impressive 100%, and the willingness to rehire these graduates also hit 100%. Industry analysts pointed out that as an application-oriented university grounded in quality-oriented education, Chongqing College of Mobile Communication (CCMC) has leveraged its distinctive "Four-in-One Dual-College System" training model to cultivate students’ universal and sustainable competitiveness characterized by high-quality, strong emotional intelligence, independent thinking, and practical capabilities. This approach highlights the students’ cross-disciplinary and cross-field employment competitiveness in today’s rapidly changing job market.
Survey results show that 90% of graduates believe the university’s Holistic Education has played a positive role in their career development. Moreover, employers’ satisfaction with students’ soft skills such as communication, coordination, and emotional intelligence exceeded 95%. This compound competency training strategy has effectively ensured that graduates maintain strong competitiveness across a wide range of fields.
The university has always regarded "cultivating high-emotional-intelligence management talents with professional backgrounds in the information industry" as its core goal, focusing on interdisciplinary knowledge integration, practical capability development, and professional literacy cultivation. To this end, CCMC has actively broken down the barriers of single-discipline programs, integrated cross-cutting content such as business thinking and digital skills into its curriculum system, and relied on more than 650 on-campus and off-campus internship and training bases to enable students to hone their problem-solving abilities in real industrial scenarios.
This report fully demonstrates the university’s remarkable achievements in graduate employment and entrepreneurship with authoritative data, and highly affirms the positive role of CCMC’s distinctive talent training model and career guidance in promoting students’ long-term career development. The university stated that moving forward, it will strengthen career planning and employment guidance, deepen professional cognition education, and make every effort to support students in achieving high-quality employment.
As a highly authoritative education data institute, MyCOS has been leading China’s higher education management data and consulting industry. On June 9, Xinhua News Agency reposted the Opinions on Further Ensuring and Improving People's Livelihood and Resolving the Pressing Difficulties and Worries of the Public jointly issued by the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council. In response, MyCOS published an interpretation article titled Latest Document Issued by the Two General Offices: Gradually Expand the Undergraduate Enrollment Scale of High-quality Universities.
