When we first entered the School of International Education, the welcome reception gently eased away the unfamiliarity and uncertainty of entering a new campus, allowing this unfamiliar place to become a home filled with belonging for the first time.

We once believed that learning meant sitting at a desk and studying endlessly. Yet at the School of International Education, learning has never been limited to textbooks. Here, there are creative English Mahjong classes that break traditional learning patterns, combining letters with fun and making language learning more engaging. There are also regular IELTS-focused courses, where professional instruction, skill-sharing sessions, and debate competitions allow every spoken expression and every moment of critical thinking to become a breakthrough in personal growth.

The School has always supported every passion for progress with care and encouragement. The “Excellent International Education Courses” provide targeted academic assistance for students facing challenges; classroom book corners bring the fragrance of reading into daily life; teachers share vocabulary-learning strategies and high-quality learning applications, helping students develop effective methods for self-discipline and growth.

Activities such as the Excellent Notes Competition, Campus Interpretation Challenge, International English Culture Month, and International English Road Trip Program continue to enrich campus life. Through competitions and practice, students improve their abilities and build confidence through persistence.From hesitant freshmen to confident young adults, the School of International Education tells us in the gentlest way: learning is never a limitation—it is a way to empower ourselves.

Expanding Horizons Through an International Perspective

The most distinctive quality of our youth at the School of International Education is openness.

Over these two years, we were never confined within the walls of a classroom. We stepped outside campus, visited international education exhibitions, and experienced the charm of world-renowned universities up close, discovering a broader vision of the world. We traveled across mountains and borders through the Germany Study Tour Program, immersing ourselves in diverse cultures and gradually expanding our horizons.

The School carefully creates every unique growth experience. The elegant wine appreciation courses helped us learn etiquette and experience Western culture. Museum-based learning internships allowed us to explore history, cultivate reflection, and enrich our knowledge. International student friendship receptions broke down language barriers, allowing us to communicate with students from different cultural backgrounds and understand the importance of inclusiveness and respect.

While some students’ university experiences may remain within classrooms and textbooks, ours began with books and extended toward the world.

A cross-cultural vision, an inclusive mindset, and an open attitude are the most valuable gifts that the School of International Education has given us.

Encountering Warmth in Everyday Moments

The confidence of young people’s growth always comes from years of sincere companionship and support.

At the School of International Education, growth has never been a lonely journey. The Dean’s Open Day, held every month, listens to our confusion, answers our questions, and provides continuous support throughout our university journey. During dumpling-making activities where teachers and students gather together, laughter fills the air, and the warmth of everyday life reveals the most genuine bond between teachers and students.

We have teacher-student forums where we discuss questions and future plans together. We have caring psychological group activities that help ease career concerns, overcome uncertainty, and embrace ourselves with acceptance. We also have regular anti-fraud and safety education programs that protect our well-being and build a strong foundation for a safe and healthy growth environment.

From teachers’ guidance in classrooms to heartfelt companionship beyond class; from patient support during confusion to silent encouragement on the road ahead—the School of International Education has never been merely a teaching building. It is a warm community filled with care, connection, and belonging.

Embracing Passion and Showing Infinite Possibilities of Youth

The best youth is not only about academic achievement, but also about enjoying life and shining in every experience.

Over these two years, we have grown freely through passion and enriched ourselves through countless meaningful moments.

On stage, the International Singing Competition brought voices together, expressing emotions through music and showcasing youthful sincerity. During the English Culture Month Culinary Competition, students demonstrated their creativity in the kitchen and discovered new skills beyond the classroom.

On the field, passion never fades. The first badminton competition witnessed our dedication and determination. On the tracks and fields of the university sports events, we stood together, challenged ourselves, and moved forward as one team, expressing the spirit of youth through passion and perseverance.

Beyond classes, warmth and romance were always present. During spring outings and picnics, we embraced nature, enjoyed the breeze, and discovered a more relaxed side of campus life. Through winter vacation hometown practices and the Winter Break Growth Program, holidays became not only moments of rest but also opportunities for reflection, improvement, and preparation for the future.

We participated in academic competitions and research discussions, continuously improving ourselves through exploration. We formed teams to discuss trending topics, exchange ideas, and update our understanding through communication.

Passionate, vibrant, free, and full of energy—this is the unique image of students from the School of International Education.

Moving Forward Toward a Bright Future

Two years of university life have passed in the blink of an eye.

At the School of International Education, we learned to pursue academic excellence with dedication; we learned to broaden our perspectives and embrace diversity; we learned to carry kindness and heal ourselves with warmth; we learned to cross boundaries with courage and break through limitations; and we learned to keep moving forward, always passionate and always striving ahead.

There is no identical path of growth and no standardized answer to youth.
